Sensei John has been a full time
professional karate instructor since February 2001
and formed Authentic Shotokan
Karate Australia in 2004.
Sensei began his karate career in the mid 1970's.

course through the Central Queensland Institute of TAFE. Sensei was
employed as a teacher with the Central Queensland Institute of TAFE when
delivering the course.

In Queensland, Blue cards are issued
by the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian once it
has carried out the Working with Children Check to see if a person is
eligible. The check is
administered by the Employment Screening Services of the Commission for
Young People and Child Guardian
ASKA Instructors have successfully
undergone the Working with Children
Check and have been issued with Blue Cards.
