Don't be a victim

Self defence training is about recognizing potential threats and avoiding them in the first instance. If avoiding an altercation is not possible then self defence training provides the means by which you can create a window of opportunity to escape a violent encounter. Self defence training is about escaping unharmed if possible, it is not about fighting.

ASKA provides Self Defence Workshops to schools, the general public and industry.

Ask yourself: “If someone was to attack me would I know how to defend myself?”

You do not need to be athletic or big and strong to be able to do effective Self Defence.

What will you learn? You will learn to defend against chokes, being grabbed, being held, being struck and much more. Workshops are designed to:

  • Improve your Self Confidence

  • Teach easy to learn and easy to use techniques

  • Improve your Safety precautions

  • Show when and where to use Self Defence
